Sarah’s background and experience includes working in a range of public and private sectors, such as the Ministry of Education’s Severe Behaviour and Early Intervention services, and at the University of Canterbury. She works with families where there are relationship difficulties, developmental concerns, anxiety, or behaviour problems.
Sarah has experience in working with people facing with multiple difficulties, substance use, mental health problems, abuse, and physical aggression.She focuses on working with people’s individual strengths and needs, and considers the whole person, their family, their culture, and their situation.
Sarah is trained to work specifically with children and young adults. She is a full member of the New Zealand Psychological Society and has a current practicing certificate with the New Zealand Psychologists’ Board.
